CM Vishnu dev Sai banned the fishing from 16 June to 15 August  for promoting the offspring growth of fish stock in the  monsoon .

Most part of the region of CG have been receiving a short rainfall and Strom  since last week , massaging the coming of monsoon in region that's why the government totally ban fishing in region except  the small ponds and waterbodies which are not connected with freefall water bodies like lake and river  .

Whoever will  found fishing,an FIR will be registered and charge of 10,000 rupee with 1 year jail.

This law imposed by Chhattisgarh River Fisheries Act 1972 , to protect the fish breeds and pollution in riverbodies .
